A quirky little hostel with a charming garden and cozy lounge. The owner was a delight, briefing everything I needed to know. Clean rooms, complete facilities, and even alpacas grazing nearby.
Wi-Fi, such an overrated thing. Who needs internet when you have alpacas?

Great hostel with comfortable rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and a helpful owner. Board games, food, and drinks available for purchase at reasonable prices. English and German information about walks and sights. Close to walking trails and easily accessible by rail. "Gästekarte" for free entry to town museum and rail travel. Spacious and clean rooms with clean toilets. Complete facilities in the kitchen and cozy lounge. Nice little garden and spacious terrace overlooking a hill with Alpacas.
Felt welcomed, nothing was too much trouble.

The hostel had a bar, a garden, free WiFi, and a shared lounge - perfect for all the lively parties and chit chats with fellow travelers. I enjoyed the hiking and cycling activities nearby too!
The "spacious" dorm room felt more like a cozy squeeze, and I absolutely loved being at the same level as someone else's feet. Very classy!

I stayed at Hostel Bad Salzig for an overnight stay with my father, and we were pleasantly surprised. Andreas, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with spacious adjoining terraces overlooking a picturesque hill with grazing Alpacas. The hostel had a well-equipped kitchen, cozy lounge area, and a peaceful garden. We also received a "Gästekarte," which provided free entry to the town museum and rail travel in the area. it was a fantastic value for money experience in a beautiful and tranquil setting.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The room we stayed in had a kitchen, so we could make our own food and keep snacks in the fridge. It made us feel right at home and saved us some money on meals.
Personally, we found the shared bathroom to be a bit inconvenient. However, we understand that some people might not mind it and still enjoy their stay.

The owner of the hostel was really friendly and even gave me a lift from the train station. The kitchen had everything I needed and there were drinks available to buy. The hostel was in a great location, close to walking trails and easily accessible by rail. I also got a free entry pass to a local museum and complimentary rail travel in the area.
There were a few drawbacks during my stay. The wifi didn't work in the common room, which was a bit inconvenient.

We got amazing value for our money at this family-run hostel just outside of Boppard. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the owner, Andreas, provided excellent hospitality. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful rural surroundings, with easy access to walking trails and the train station.
The breakfast menu could have been better, with more variety and options to choose from.
